Welcome to the Kawartha Lakes Trout Farm!

We are a Family owned and operated trout farm with rainbow and speckled trout for public fishing (sizes range from 10"-20") located in the heart of the Kawarthas and only a 90 minute drive north east from Toronto. Open seven days a week in summer. (In the winter months we are open weekends and holidays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Weekdays by reservation)

We have the following services available:

  • Fishing rod rentals
  • Fly Fishing
  • Shore lunches
  • Paddle boat rentals; swimming area
  • Picnic area and snack bar, offering pop, chips, hot dogs, etc.
  • Packages available for family reunions, birthday parties, etc.
  • Group rates
  • Playground for kids; horseshoe pits for adults
  • Overnight camping as well as housekeeping cottage (call for availability)
  • Smoked trout available
  • Gift Certificates available - Father's Day, Christmas etc.
  • Fresh frozen trout also available

We are now offering camping!


Cost ranges from $20 - $26 a night.

Other seasonal Events or Services are:

  • Ice fishing - open air or heated huts
